Sapota ma subtelny smak, który nie dominuje – bardziej przypomina dynię niż klasyczne owoce tropikalne. Bardzo dobra do kuchennych eksperymentów i wytrawnych połączeń.

Smak delikatny, neutralny, bez typowych tropikalnych nut. Konsystencja miękka, lekko mączysta. Dobrze sprawdziła się jako składnik puree i domowych deserów.

Sapota ma bardzo łagodny, skrobiowy smak. Przypomina połączenie batata i dyni, bez intensywnej słodyczy. Owoc był świeży, idealny jako dodatek do dań.
